This article provides information on "Printer and Account Settings on the C2665dnf Dell Laser Printer"
The C2665dnf differs from other printers in how default settings are used. Settings are controlled at two separate levels; the user account level and the system level. Changing a setting on the user account level does not change the setting on the system, nor does changing a system setting modify the settings for a user account.
User account settings are managed from the operator panel while logged into a user account. These settings are going to deal primarily with solution settings, such as the default settings managed within the Scan to Network application.
System level settings are managed in the EWS or by hitting the info button on the operator panel. These settings are used to manage features that do not require a user to be logged in to the printer to use, such as printing. Solution settings that are managed at the user account level can also be managed here, but they will not change impact the settings with in user accounts that already exist. The system level settings will be inherited by any newly created user accounts
For more information on changing the settings on this printer, check the User's Guide.
If these steps do not correct the problem, please contact Contact Dell Technical Support.
