This is a limited time offer by Dell EMC. Dell EMC reserves the right to remove these trial licenses at any time. Customer’s use of the Software is governed by these TERMS. Notwithstanding the TERMS, the evaluation period for the iDRAC Enterprise Extended Trial is 240 days from the date of download. Customers wishing to extend use beyond the evaluation period must purchase a perpetual license to the software.

Dell EMC offers the option to upgrade the iDRAC license through a license file. The Enterprise license enables all the features of Basic and Express licenses and the additional features like Virtual Console, Virtual Media, and Out of Band Performance Monitoring.
Trial license can only be imported one time per product. Attempting to import an additional trial license will fail.

1 The iDRAC9 X5 licenses associated for the Dell EMC PowerEdge Rx5x/Cx5x servers (for example R7525) are appended with an "X5" in the licensing description. The iDRAC9 X5 license versions are not compatible with previous PowerEdge servers with iDRAC9. When attempting to import a legacy iDRAC9 license on iDRAC9 X5 system, the import will fail. Similarly, attempting to import a iDRAC9 X5 license on previous PowerEdge servers with iDRAC9 will fail.
How to import iDRAC license
- Download and extract the iDRAC Extended Enterprise Trial zip file corresponding to the iDRAC version of your Dell EMC product.
- Import the iDRAC Enterprise Extended Trial License xml file through the iDRAC web interface:
- Enter the iDRAC web interface
- iDRAC9 only: Go to the Configuration tab.
- Go to Licenses.
- Select Import from the drop-down menu under License Options to import the license.
- Wait until the import process is finished, then log out from the web interface.
- Log in again to check if the temporary upgrade was successful.
