Dell Endpoint Secuirty Suite Pro install error "1628: Failed to complete installation"


When installing the Dell Endpoint Secuirty Suite Pro using the DDPSuite.exe installer from a command prompt, the user receives the error message "1628: Failed to complete installation".

The command line install entry should look like to following command:

DDPSuite.exe -y -gm2 z"\"SERVER=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX\""

To resolve this issue, verify the syntax of the command line. Ensure that all ["] are in the proper place.

Warning: Be sure not to copy/paste the command line from an Microsoft Office program, as it can create issues with quotations.
