This article explains how to create a Virtual Disk using the System Settings menu with a PERC 10 on a Dell PowerEdge server of the 14th generation. Alternatively, the Virtual Disk can also be created from the integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) web interface.
Enter the System Setup by pressing F2 during system start.
Click on Device Settings.

Click on the desired RAID controller device.

Click on Configuration Management.

Click on Create Virtual Disk

The following list of options are now displayed to define the Virtual Disk parameters:
Click on Select Physical Disks.

Choose the desired drives and click on Apply Changes.

When the action was performed successfully, click on OK.

Name the new Virtual Disk and choose the desired settings.
Click on Create Virtual Disk.

Check Confirm and click on Yes.
