Check the plug-in terminator on the back of the autoloader.

There are two SCSI connectors on the back of the unit. One should have the cable attached and the other connector should have a SCSI terminator attached.

The Drive Must Be Terminated.

On a PowerVault 120T DLT1 Autoloader, the drive must be terminated in order for the unit to complete POST. If the drive is not properly terminated, the LCD displays the error message LDR INIT and the alarm sounds with a solid beep.

The PowerVault 120T Autoloader DLT1 is an LVD SCSI device. SCSI devices require termination on each end of the SCSI bus. The termination for this device is in the form of a plug-in terminator on the PowerVault 120T.
