Error Code 90 is displayed after opening the door on the Dell™ PowerVault™ 122T autoloader. - Technical Tip - 132948


Reset the unit using the Operator control panel.

To resolve the error message, reset the unit using the Operator control panel by performing the following steps:

  1. From the Operator Control Panel Home Screen use the Next or Previous buttons on the control panel to cycle through the menu options.
  2. Select Configuration and press the Enter button.
    The Configuration submenu displays with Reset, Change SCSI ID, Code Update, Circular Mode, and Autoload Mode as available options.
  3. Select Reset and press the Enter button.
    The unit resets, and the error no longer displays.

Opening autoloader door manually causes error.

Manually opening the autoloader door creates a mechanical error message:

Error! Code 90

To resolve the error, power the autoloader off and back on using the operator control panel on the front of the autoloader.
