Instructions

To reset the S50 to factory defaults, complete the following instructions.
  1. Connect to S50N/V device via console
    • Baud rate = 9600
    • Character Size = 8
    • Flow Control = Disabled
    • Stop Bits = 1
    • Parity = none​
  2. Power cycle the S50 either by disconnecting and reconnecting the power cord, or by typing reload, and then yes at privelidged exec mode
    • FTOS#reload
  3. Hit any key when prompted during the S50 boot process to get into BOOT_USER mode
