What tape devices are supported in a Storage Area Network (SAN) environment using a Dell™ PowerVault™ storage device?

In order to attach a SCSI tape device to a Storage Area Network (SAN), you must use the Dell™ PowerVault™ 35F bridge for the connection. The PowerVault 35F only supports High Voltage Differential (HVD) devices, therefore you must use HVD tape solutions in a SAN Environment.

  • PowerVault 120T DLT 4000 Autoloader
  • PowerVault 120T DLT 7000 Autoloader

Not Supported

  • PowerVault 120T DLT1 Autoloader
  • PowerVault 120T DDS3 Autoloader
  • PowerVault 120T DDS4 Autoloader
