This article contains information regarding a Dell Venue 7 (3730) with Android 4.3 that does not connect to Microsoft Exchange server.
Users may experience an issue where the Dell Venue 7 (3730) Android tablet running the Android 4.3 operating system will not connect to Microsoft Exchange Server based email.
The error message is titled: "Couldn't finish," then states: "Can't connect to server." The error message pops up instantly when secure socket layer (SSL) is checked, but when unchecked, the login attempt lasts about five seconds.
The email software that displays this issue is the default Android email client.

This issue has been resolved in subsequent releases of Android.
To execute the Android image update, go to Settings icon, tap About Tablet, tap System Updates, tap Check Now.
After the updates are installed, reboot the tablet and the default email client should work with Microsoft Exchange server based email accounts.
