When a you attempt to activate Acrobat 9 Standard on a Dell OEM machine running Windows, you might receive one of the following error messages:
• "Sorry... Our records still indicate that this serial number has been used to set up and activate Acrobat Standard on 2 other machines, which is the maximum allowed...", or • " Excuse the interruption, but...Our records indicate that this serial number has been used to set up and activate Acrobat Standard on 2 other machines, which is the maximum allowed..."
1. In the dialog box that begins with "Sorry...", click the Back button. 2. In the dialog that begins with "Excuse the interruption but..." select the radio button that says "I have a different serial number for this product and I am ready to enter and activate it now." and then click Next. 3. Enter the serial number located on the back of the Acrobat Standard DVD case. 4. Click Next.
