This is a step by step guide taking you through installing Microsoft Office 2013 on your system. It lists the system requirements to run the program. How to locate the install media and how to use it once you have it. Office 2013 is the latest office suite and is designed for personal use on 1 PC. If you are looking for a business application then Microsoft would like you to use their new subscription service Microsoft Office 365.
You can purchase Office 2013 if it didn't come with your system.
Please change the country at the top right hand side of the screen to match where your are.

Microsoft Office 2013 is available in both 32 and 64-bit versions and will install on the following minimum hardware requirements.
Confirm your PC meets the Office 2013 system requirements.
Check to see if your PC is preloaded with Office 2013. Click the Windows Start menu and then click All Programs. If you see Office 2013, Office is preloaded :
If your PC is preloaded with Office 2013. Click the Windows Start Menu and then click Office 2013. On the startup screen, log into your Microsoft account and when prompted, enter your 25-character Product Key.
If your PC is NOT preloaded with Office 2013 or you have reinstalled your PC from disc and not from an image. Go to the page below and enter your product ID and you can download a backup copy of your media and then click on the setup.exe file.
Click Yes on the User Account Control window to give permission for the installation application to work on your computer. Office 2013 will begin extracting files.
Sign in to a Microsoft Passport account. A Hotmail or Outlook webmail account will work as a passport account or alternatively you can create a passport account using the Microsoft website and any valid email account. You can get more information on these account on the link below.
Enter your product key into the space provided and press the Continue button once Microsoft validates your key.
Read the Microsoft Software License terms, place a check mark in the box to indicate that you agree with them and press the Continue button.
Press the Install Now button to begin the installation. A progress bar will indicate how far along the installation has progressed. Depending upon the speed of your computer, this step could take several minutes on older systems.
Click Close when the installation completes.
To access the newly-installed Microsoft Office 2013 applications, go to Start > All Programs > Microsoft Office and click on the program that you wish to use. When Microsoft Office 2013 runs for the first time a window will appear asking you to help protect and improve Microsoft Office.
Place a dot in the radio button beside Use Recommended Settings and click OK.
Click "Yes" on the User Account Control Window that will appear asking if Microsoft Update can make changes to your computer. The settings will be saved and you will be able to start using your newly installed Microsoft Office 2013.
Click on the Sign Up button.
Sign up to a Microsoft passport account, login to Microsoft's Online Portal.
From the Office home page, click the Download Software admin shortcut.
Click the install button. This will launch the new Click-to-Run installer.
The new Office installer will launch via Click-to-Run technology.
Review the Microsoft Office licensing agreement and click the Accept button.
Within a couple minutes, the core of Office will install and you'll be greeted by a short introductory video explaining some of the new Office features.
Choose a look-and-feel to personalize the new Office client applications.
Jump in and start using Office while the rest of Office installs in the background over the next few minutes.
You're now ready to use Office 2013.
