Dell Chromebox and Dell Chromebox for Meetings receiving a "Network not Available" message on boot

When booting up the Dell Chromebox or Chromebox for Meetings, the following message may appear at the boot screen--"Network not available". This message does not necessarily indicate a problem with the device. The message may be displayed for up to a minute during the normal boot process of the Chromebox device, while it is establishing a network connection and acquiring a DHCP lease for an available IP address. Once this occurs, the message should disappear on its own.

Select the appropriate network at the message screen to resolve the issue

If the message persists, then click the drop-down box that appears below the message to Select a network and choose the appropriate network:

Chromebox network settings

It may be necessary to then enter a password or configure advanced options, depending on the settings of the access point being used for the network connection. For hidden access points, select the "Other WiFi network" option that appears at the bottom of the list.
