The native i810_audio module in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 does not function on the PowerEdge 400SC.
The i810_audio module in the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 kernel does not fully support the integrated sound controller on the Dell PowerEdge 400SC. The operating system identifies the controller and configures it correctly, but the audio does not function.
Update the i810_audio module.
A driver to fully support the audio controller is available on the System Support CD and from the Dell Support website at https://support.dell.com.
