This article provides information on Latitude system freezes when used with Sophos or Utimaco SafeGuard Enterprise
A user may report their Latitude E2 series or Precision M10 systems may freeze upon startup if they have Sophos or Utimaco SafeGuard Enterprise edition installed.
The affected models are as follows:
Latitude E2 series 2110, E4310, E5410, E5510, E6410 & ATG, E6510, ST XT2 & XFR
Precision M10 series M4500
This issue does not appear as a hardware issue or show any issue to do with the Sophos or Utimaco software.
This issue has been resolved in a later revision of the BIOS. Please refer to the www.dell.com/support/drivers and download the latest BIOS for your system.
