Do you need to refresh your installation of ChromeOS? Use the PowerWash feature to remove all data from your Chromebook and put a fresh copy of Chrome OS on it.

Need to reset your Chromebook to its factory state? The built-in Powerwash feature can do this for you. Before we begin, back up your personal files on the device. Powerwash will erase them. To access Powerwash, click the status area in the lower right-hand corner, Near your account picture.
Select Settings, and then click Show Advanced Settings at the bottom of the page. Scroll through the list and find the Powerwash section. Click Powerwash, and then click Restart in the dialogue box that appears. A warning screen will appear reminding you that your data will be erased.
Confirm you want to erase all data off the machine, And restore it to its factory state by clicking Reset. The system will now restart and perform the Powerwash. When the system finishes the reset, your Chromebook will start the new setup wizard As if it were turned on for the first time.
