Before you begin, remove the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. Now remove the screws securing the shield. And lift the shield off. Then disconnect the cable if required. For example, you need to remove the antenna cables When replacing the system board.
To install the wireless module shield, reconnect the antenna cables. So for the cable with the black label, connect it with the connectors indicated with the white triangle.
For the other cable, connect it to the connector indicated with the black triangle. Then, now align the shield with the screw hole, and secure it with the screw. For more information or support visit: Dell.com/Support.
