To remove the hard drive, loosen the two screws on the side cover and slide the cover off the system. Identify the hard drive assembly and disconnect the cables. Unlatch and remove the assembly from the system. Unlatch the hard drive from the assembly to remove it.
To reinstall the hard drive, relatch it to the assembly. Latch the assembly to the system and reconnect the cables. Tighten the two screws to secure the side cover. For more information about your Dell system, visit Dell.com/Support.
