In this video, we show how to replace the fan shroud on your computer. The action in the following video should be performed by a Dell certified technician. Before working inside your system, review all safety guidelines to protect the system and ensure your personal safety.
For full safety information, view the Service Manual at: Dell.com/Support Before you begin, remove the left side cover. To remove the fan shroud, press on the release tab and lift it away to remove it.
To install the fan shroud, align over the assembly such that the rear side arrow is pointing towards the back panel. Insert it and snap it into place. For more information or support, visit: Dell.com/Support.
