Prerequisites
Ensure that you read the Safety instructions.
Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals.
Disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and disconnect the peripherals.
Remove the system cover.
If installed, remove expansion card(s) from the expansion-card riser 2 and 3.
Keep the #1 Phillips screwdriver handy.
Removing the network daughter card:
Using a #1 Phillips screwdriver, loosen the captive screws that secure the network daughter card to the system board.
Hold the network daughter card by the edges on either side of the touch point and lift the card to remove it from the connector on the system board.
Slide the network daughter card away from the back of the system until the Ethernet connectors are clear of the slot in the back panel.
Lift the network daughter card out of the chassis.

Installing the network daughter card:
Angle the card so that the Ethernet connectors fit through the slot in the back panel.
Align the captive screws on the card with the captive screw sockets on the system board.
Press the touch points on the card until the card connector is firmly seated on the system board connector.
Using a #1 Phillips screwdriver, tighten the captive screws to secure the network daughter card to the system board.
If applicable, install the expansion card(s) in the expansion-card riser 2.
Install the system cover.
Reconnect the system to its electrical outlet.
Turn the system on, including any attached peripherals.
