Locate Your Storage Device's Tag

Service Tags (ST), Express Service Codes (EX), mini-Enterprise Service Tags, Enterprise Service Tags, Express Service Tags (EST), Product Serial Number Tags (PSNT), or Software IDs (SWID) are unique product identifier found on a barcoded label on your device and/or from the product software. The physical label is attached to a pull-tab, commonly referred to as a luggage tag or information tag.

Though these tags may be called by different names, they all serve the same purpose: helping you access Dell support, check warranty status, and receive updates. When contacting Dell Support, providing this code ensures your call is routed to the right team for personalized assistance.

Depending on the Storage Devices, the unique identifier may be found on the front of the system by pulling out the information tag. Alternatively, the information might be on a sticker on the back of the storage system chassis. Additionally, there may be other methods to look up the Service Tag through a browser or command line. Refer to the links provided below by storage product or the product user guide for more information.
