Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system:
Power off the system and all attached peripherals.
Disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and disconnect the peripherals.
If applicable, remove the system from the rack.
Remove the system cover.
Remove the support bar.
Remove the air shroud top cover.
Remove the cooling fan cage assembly.
If required, Remove the air shroud.
Remove the expansion card risers or remove the full length expansion card riser.

Remove the riser air shroud.
Remove the PSU.
Removing the power distribution board:
Loosen the captive screw.
Holding the touch point firmly lift the PDB from the system.
Installing the power distribution board:
Align and lower the power distribution board (PDB) into the system board slot.
Press the blue touch point on the PDB until seated firmly.
Tighten the captive screw.
Install the PSU.
Install the riser air shroud.
Install the expansion card risers or Install the full length expansion card riser.
If removed, Install the air shroud
Install the cooling fan cage assembly.
Install the air shroud top cover.
Install the support bar.
Follow the procedure listed in After working inside your system:
Replace the system cover.
If applicable, install the system into the rack.
Reconnect the peripherals and connect the system to the electrical outlet, and then power on the system.
