Ensure that you read the Safety instructions.
Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system:
Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals.
Disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and disconnect the peripherals.
If installed, remove the front bezel. For more information, see Removing the front bezel .
Remove the system cover.
Remove the support bar.
Remove the air shroud top cover.
Remove the cooling fan cage assembly.
If installed, Remove the air shroud or remove the GPU air shroud.
NOTE: The GPU air shroud can be removed only after the full length expansion card risers have been removed.
If required, Remove the expansion card risers or remove the full length expansion card riser.
NOTE: See cable routing section for more information.
Disconnect the UPI and riser cables from the PEM.
Remove the processor expansion module (PEM).
NOTE:PEM along with DLC module can be removed by disconnecting the tubes from the tube holder on the system board or from the slot on the riser 2 and from the rear wall. See remove the DLC module on the PEM topic to disconnect the DLC tubes.
Remove the side wall bracket.
Removing the right control panel:
Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the screws that secure the right control panel and cable cover to the system.
Remove the cable cover away from the system.
Disconnect the right control panel cable and the VGA cable from the connectors on the system board.
Holding the right control panel and VGA cable assembly, slide the right control panel out of the system.
NOTE: Observe the routing of the cable assembly as you remove the right control panel from the system.
Installing the right control panel:
Align and slide the right control panel into the slot on the system.
Route the right control panel cable through the side wall of the system.
Align and slide the right control panel cable cover in the slot on the system.
NOTE: Route the cable properly to prevent the cable from being pinched or crimped.
Connect the right control panel cable and VGA cable to the connectors on the system board.
Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, tighten the screws that secure the right control panel and the cable cover to the system.
Install the processor expansion module (PEM).
NOTE:PEM along with DLC module can be installed by connecting the tubes into the tube holder on the system board or into the slot on the riser 2 and into the rear wall. See install the DLC module on the PEM topic to connect the DLC tubes.
If removed, install the expansion card risers or install the full length expansion card riser.
NOTE: Before installing the full length expansion card risers, install the GPU air shroud.
Install the side wall bracket.
Install the air shroud or install the GPU air shroud.
Install the cooling fan cage assembly.
Install the air shroud top cover.
Install the support bar.
Follow the procedure listed in After working inside your system:
Replace the system cover.
If applicable, install the system into the rack.

Reconnect the peripherals and connect the system to the electrical outlet, and then power on the system.
