How to Replace the Memory Module on Precision 5860 Tower

This video will demonstrate the replacement procedure of a memory module for the Precision 5860 Tower.

For more information about safety guidelines, see the Owner’s manual at: Dell.com/Support. Before you begin, turn off the computer and disconnect all the attached peripherals. 

To remove the memory module, Remove the latches on the side cover to lift it off the system. Find and unlatch the air shroud to remove it. Identify the memory module and unlatch it. Lift the module out of the system.

To reinstall the memory module, place it back in the system and re-latch it. Re-latch the air shroud. Re-latch the side cover on the system. For more information about your Dell system, visit: Dell.com/Support.
