In this video, we show how to replace the power supply unit on your computer. The action in the following video should be performed by a Dell certified technician. Before working inside your system, review all safety guidelines to protect the system and ensure your personal safety.
For full safety information, view the Service Manual at: Dell.com/Support Before you begin, remove the left side cover. Remove the front cover and the drive bay if applicable. To remove the power supply unit, disconnect the processor power cable. Also remove the system board power cable.
Then remove it from the routing guides Remove the screws securing that power supply unit. Push it towards the front of the system, and lift it up to remove it. To install the power supply unit. Align it and push it to the back. Then replace the screws to secure it.
