Before working inside your system, review all safety guidelines to protect the system and ensure your personal safety. For full safety information, view the Service Manual at: Dell.com/Support Before you begin, remove the left side cover and the front cover, then remove the drive bay and fan shroud if applicable.
To remove the assembly, disconnect the processor fan cable. Loosen the captive screw in reverse order. And lift the assembly off. To install the assembly, align it with the screw holes.
