Dell Webcam Central keeps you in touch with your loved ones. Video chat, share pictures, edit them all in one place. In this video, we will look at troubleshooting "Dell Webcam Central."
For error messages, reinstalling the webcam driver usually helps. Let's see how. Click "Start." Type "Device Manager" in the search bar. Open "Device Manager" and click "Imaging devices."
Right-click "Integrated Webcam" or "USB camera" and select "Uninstall." Click "OK" to start. Once complete, restart the computer, and the driver will reinstall automatically.
If the other party is unable to hear you your microphone may be disabled. To fix this, click the "drop-down arrow" next to the picture of the microphone, and select "Microphone."
Click the picture of the microphone, and make sure it is not muted. A bar will be shown across the microphone when it is muted. Right-click the "speaker" icon on the system tray, and select "Recording devices."
Double-click on "Microphone/Array" and ensure that it is enabled. If the other party is unable to see you, make sure "Capture" is selected in the lower-right corner of the console.
Ensure that you're in a well-lit area. Adjust camera sensitivity at the top right of the console. If the issue persists, reinstall "Webcam Central" software.
Thank you for watching.
