To remove the rear cover, loosen the two screws at the front of the base cover and remove the six screws securing the cover. Pry the cover off the system to remove it. Find the battery cable and remove the piece of tape. Unplug the cable.
Identify the rear cover and remove the two screws on the back. Unplug the cables and remove the three screws. Lift the rear cover off the system.
To reinstall the rear cover, place it back on the system and install the three screws. Reconnect the cables and tighten the two screws on the back. Reconnect the battery cable and reattach the piece of tape. Place the base cover back on the system and secure it with the eight screws.
