Before you begin, turn off the computer, and disconnect all the attached peripherals. 

Ensure that you always use ESD protection when working inside the computer.  

This video shows how to replace the M.2 solid-state drive assembly also known as SSD assembly on a Precision 7865 Tower.

To begin, push the M.2 SSD assembly to release it from the PCIe flex bay. Now, slide M.2 SSD assembly out to remove it from the computer.

To install the M.2 SSD assembly insert and slide it into the PCIe flex bay until it clicks into place. You have now successfully replace the M.2 SSD assembly.
