In this video we’ll go over the steps for performing a part replacement on your Dell PC. First unscrew and remove bottom base. Now unscrew battery. Next unscrew and remove battery.
Now separate clips and remove memory. Now disconnect and remove CMOS battery. Now unscrew hard drive caddy. Then disconnect and remove hard drive. Now unscrew and remove bracket.
Next disconnect antenna cables and remove wireless card. Next unscrew circuit board. Now disconnect and remove power/volume button circuit board. Now disconnect circuit board cables.
Then unscrew and remove USB/SD card circuit board. Then disconnect and remove daughter board. Now unscrew cooling fan. Then disconnect and remove cooling fan.
Now unscrew and remove heatsink. Now disconnect and remove speakers. Then disconnect display cables from motherboard. Now unscrew and remove display assembly.
Then disconnect cables from motherboard. Now unscrew and remove motherboard. Now unscrew and remove DC jack. Once replaced, your PC should be ready to be used again.
