To remove the solid state drive 2230., loosen the eight captive screws on the base cover and pry the cover off the system. Find and unplug the battery cable. Identify the solid state drive and remove the piece of tape. Remove the screw and slide the drive out of the system. Remove the screw to fully disconnect the drive.
To reinstall the solid-state drive 2230, tighten the screw. Slide the drive back in the system and install the screw. Reattach the piece of tape. Reconnect the battery cable.
