To remove the solid state drive 2230, loosen the screw on the side cover and slide the cover off the system to remove it. Identify the hard drive assembly and unlatch it. Lift the assembly out of the system. Identify the solid state drive and remove the screws, securing it. Lift the drive out of the assembly.
To reinstall the solid state drive 2230, place it back in the system and secure it with the screw. Re-latch the hard drive assembly back to the system. Slide the side cover back on the system and tighten the screw to secure it. For more information about your Dell system, visit Dell.com/Support.
