In this video, we show how to replace the system board in a Dell Pro Micro Thin Client Q9M1260. The actions in the following video should be performed a Dell certified technician. Before you begin, remove the side cover, memory module, SSD heat sink, M.2 2230 SSD, wireless card, wireless card module, coin-cell battery, speaker, speaker holder, and heat sink.
To remove the system board, remove the screws that secure it to the chassis. Then, lift the system board from the chassis. Slide and take it out from the chassis. Before installing the system board, inspect the large thermal pad and replace it if necessary. All other thermal pads need to be replaced regardless of their condition.
To install the system board, align the system board and slide it at an angle and place it properly. Fasten the screws that secure it to the chassis. For more information or support, visit: Dell.com/Support.
