Here's how to clear stuck paper from your B5460 or B5465 laser printer. Switch the power off. Remove the paper tray. Check for paper in the pickup area and in the duplex tray.

Check the paper in the tray for damage and discard any torn or creased sheets, then replace the tray. Open the front covers, then pull on the blue handle to remove the toner cartridge, then the imaging drum. Be careful removing paper from the fuser area.

Always allow the fuser to cool for at least 40 minutes before touching it directly. Gently remove any stuck paper. Reinsert the drum and toner, then close the front covers. Open the back cover to get access to the rear of the fuser and gently remove any paper.

You may have to remove the fuser unit to clear a jam. Always allow the fuser to cool first. To remove the fuser, open the back cover to a 45 degree angle, then pull gently to remove it. Open the lower cover, then loosen the blue thumbscrews until they pop forward. Pull on the fuser handle to remove it.

Clear any scraps of paper then reinsert the fuser. Push in, then tighten the blue thumbscrews. Close the lower cover, then refit the back door.
