How to Replace the pick roller on Dell B5460dn and B5465dnf laser printers

Here's how to change the pick roller on Dell B5460dn, and B5465dnf laser printers. When it's time to change the pick roller, your printer will alert you with a message on the screen. We're using a 5465 here, the 5460 uses the same pick roller, and it's changed in the same way.

Switch the printer off, then remove the paper tray. Pull down on the blue plastic tray on the right. With the tray still held down squeeze the release buttons on the pick roller assembly, then slide the assembly to the right to remove it from the axle. Slide the replacement rollers on to the axle, then reinsert the tray.

To reset the roller life counter, Switch the printer on while holding keys 2 and 6 on the number pad. In the configuration menu select 'Reset Roller Kit Counter', then select again to confirm. Select 'Back', then 'Exit Config Menu'.
