How to Replace Quick Sync Control panel in a PowerEdge R4715

In this video, we show how to replace the Quick Sync left control panel in a PowerEdge R4715. Before working inside your system, read through and follow safety guidelines to protect your system from potential damage and ensure your personal safety.

For more information about safety guidelines, see the Service Manual at: Dell.com/Support. Before you begin, remove the system cover and drive backplane cover. To remove the left control panel, we'll first need to disconnect the data cables that are going over the connector. And then unroute them. 

Disconnect the Quick Sync control panel cable and unwrap that. With the cable free, remove the three screws that are securing the control panel in place. With the screws removed, slide the control panel off the left of the system, and be careful with the cable. To install the control panel, align and slide it into the side of system.

Make sure the cable is routed correctly and replace the three screws to secure it. Slide this cable under the guide. Let's route the Quick Sync control panel cable and reconnect that.
