How to Remove and Reinstall SSD for Latitude 5430

This video will demonstrate removal and reinstallation procedure of an SSD for Latitude 5430.

To remove the SSD, flip the laptop over and remove the 8 screws from the base cover. Gently pry the cover away from the hinges and lift it off the system. Locate the SSD and remove the two screws securing it to the motherboard. Unlatch it and lift it up and away from the system.

To reinstall the SSD place it back in its correct spot, aligning the notch with the tab and latching it into place. Install the 2 screws securing it to the system and put the base cover back on.
