Before you begin, remove the Palmrest and Keyboard Assembly. With the display open Remove the screws securing the display cable bracket. then leave the bracket away. Disconnect the two display cable connectors from the system board. Move the display to a right angle position. before you remove the screws securing the hinges of your display assembly. Then lift the display assembly off.
To install the display assembly place display assembly at a 90 degrees angle. Align the screw holes of the hinges to the one on the base cover and secure with the screws. Connect the two display cable connectors. Then place the display cable bracket over the connectors. And replace the screw to secure the bracket.
