How to replace NVDIMM Battery for PowerEdge R640

This video will demonstrate the replacement procedure of a NVDIMM Battery for the PowerEdge R640.

Prerequisites
Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
Turn off the system, including all attached peripherals.
Disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and disconnect the peripherals.
If applicable, remove the system from the rack.
Remove the system cover.
Disconnect the cables from the NVDIMM-N battery.

Removing the NVDIMM-N battery:
Using the Phillips #2 screwdriver, loosen the screw securing the NVDIMM-N battery.
Holding the edges, lift the NVDIMM-N battery away from the system.

Installing the NVDIMM-N battery:
Holding the edges, align the NVDIMM-N battery with the battery connector on the system board
Connect the cables to the NVDIMM-N battery.
Using the Phillips #2 screwdriver, tighten the screw to secure the NVDIMM-N battery.
NOTE:NVDIMM-N battery is not hot-pluggable.

Reconnect the peripherals and connect the system to the electrical outlet.
Turn on the attached peripherals and then turn on the system.
