Remove the screws, securing the base cover to the Palmrest and Keyboard Assembly. Flip the device over. And open the display. Now place the computer on its side. Using a pointed end of the plastic scribe, Push the screw holes nearest to the display. If you are unable to dislodge the palm rest assembly with a plastic scrib, Use the pointed end of a paper clip or SIM ejector to instead.
Be careful not to scratch or damage the base cover. Using the end of the plastic scribe loosen the palm rest and keyboard assembly. Place it on the table. Continue trying to fully loosen the assembly. Now lift the palm rest and keyboard assembly and flip it over. If your computer is not in service mode first, disconnect the battery cable. Next, disconnect the MCU cable from the system board and fill period out from the battery. install the palm rest and keyboard assembly. First, adhere the MCU cable to the battery.
If your battery cable has been disconnected previously, connect it back to the system board as well. Flip the assembly over to towards the base cover Align it. And then snap it into place. Replace the four screws. For more information or support, visit: Dell.com/Support.
