Before you begin, remove the Palmrest and Keyboard Assembly. Remove the screws securing the shield to the system board. Then leave the shield off. Then disconnect the antenna cables from the wireless module if required. For example, you need to remove the antenna cables when replacing the system board.

To install the wireless module, you reconnect the antenna cables, connect the cable with the white sleeve. To the triangle that is indicated in black. For the cable with the black label, it should be on the triangle that is white. Align the screw holes of the shield with the one on the system board, and replace the screw to secure it.
