Before you begin, remove the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. The solid state drive, the wireless module shield, the display assembly, thermal fans and the heatsink.To remove the system board. First remove the screws from the PCBeam cables And we remove the PCBeam interposer boards. Be careful when handling the interposers.
Do not touch the pins on the connectors. Then disconnect the two speaker cables. Remove the screws on the system board. For more information or support visit: Dell.com/Support. And lift the system board off the base cover.
To install a system board. Align the screw holes on the system board with those on the base cover. And replace the four screws. Replace the left and right PCBeam interposers. Connect the PCBeam cables and secure it in place. And reconnect the speaker cables. For more information or support visit: Dell.com/Support.
