Before you begin, remove the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. So first we remove the screws securing the right fan. Then we open the latch. And disconnect the cable. Now lift the fan off the system. Follow the same procedure for the left fan as well.
To install the right thermal fan, we align the screw holes on the fan with the ones on the base cover. And we replace the screws to secure it. Then we reconnect the fan cables. And close the latch.
