How to Replace System Battery for PowerEdge C6615

This video will demonstrate the replacement procedure of a system battery for the Dell PowerEdge C6615.

In this video we show how to replace the system battery on a PowerEdge C6615. Before removing the system battery, read through and follow the safety guidelines to protect your system from potential damage and ensure your personal safety. In order to remove the system battery you must first remove the air shroud. To remove the air shroud, press the clip and lift it. To remove the system battery, use a plastic scribe to pry it out of the system board.

To install a new system battery, slide it under the securing tabs and press to snap it into place. To install the air shroud, insert the hook into the slot on the chassis. Then lower the air shroud until the clip locks in place. For more information or support visit Dell.com/Support.
