In this video we show how to install a TPM on a PowerEdge C6615. Before installing the TPM, read through and follow the safety guidelines to protect your system from potential damage and ensure your personal safety. In order to install the TPM you must first remove riser 1 and the riser 2 blank. To remove expansion card riser 1, remove the 3 screws that secure the riser to the chassis. Then lift the riser from the connector on the system board. To remove the riser 2 blank, remove the 3 screws securing it to the chassis. Then lift it out of the chassis.
To install the TPM, align the edge connectors with the TPM slot on the system board then press the plastic rivet until the rivet snaps into place on the system board. To install the riser 2 blank, align the blank with the slot on the chassis and lower it into place. Then tighten the 3 screws that secure the blank to the chassis.
To install expansion card riser 1, align the riser with the slot on the chassis and lower until firmly seated. Then tighten the three screws that secure the riser to the chassis. For more information or support visit : Dell.com/Support.
