SupportAssist for Home PCs is available for Dell PCs running a Windows Operating System (Inspiron, XPS, Latitude, Vostro, Alienware) and lets you know which new drivers, BIOS, and firmware updates are available for download. Learn more about Dell SupportAssist by

SupportAssist notifies you when new updates are available, allowing you to download all the updates at once, or select them individually and download them at a convenient time. SupportAssist installs them automatically on your behalf.
SupportAssist is installed on most Dell Windows PCs. You can find it by searching “SupportAssist” in your Windows start menu. If you don’t find it on your PC, you can download it here.

Dell Update is installed as a standalone application on consumer platforms (Inspiron, Vostro, XPS, Alienware running Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10) to provide updates (BIOS, firmware, drivers, and applications) for systems software released by Dell. This tool informs you when a critical driver update is available, for example when an issue has been identified by Dell and the latest driver version has a fix for the problem.
