In this video, we show how to replace the display assembly on your computer. The actions in the following video should be performed by a Dell certified technician. Before working inside your computer, review all safety guidelines to protect the computer and ensure your personal safety.

Before you begin, remove the base cover. To remove the display assembly, remove the screws securing the display bracket. And remove the bracket.

Now disconnect the display cable from the system board. Open the lid and place the system at the edge of the table. Now, remove the screws securing the hinges. And lift the display off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.

To install the display assembly, align the hinges with the screw holes on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly and place it. Then, replace the screws to secure it.
