To remove the fan, disconnect the fan cable from the system board. Then remove the screws securing the fan. And lift the fan off to remove it.

To install a fan, align the fan with the palm-rest and keyboard assembly and place it. Then replace the screws to secure it. Now, reconnect the fan cable back to the system board. For more information or support, visit: Dell.com/Support.
