This video demonstrates how to find the service tag on a Dell tablet, including methods using SupportAssist, the Windows Command Prompt, and Android tablet settings.
A Dell tablet service tag can be found on the back panel or the bezel depending on the model. You can use SupportAssist to automatically scan your tablet and identify the service tag. This information is shown on the top right corner of SupportAssist.
You can also find the service tag using the Windows Command Prompt. To do so, go to Start and type CMD into the search bar. Open up the result, and once in the Command Prompt app, type in WMIC BIOS, get serial number, and press Enter. The serial number information will display the tablet's service tag.
On Dell tablets, the service tag or express service code can be found in the settings in the "About Tablet" section. Note that this feature is only available on Android tablets. Open the application drawer and go to settings. Scroll down and open "About Tablet." Locate the serial number option, which will display the service tag.
