Learn how to install a PCI adapter on a Dell VRTX to begin ensure your VRTX is powered off and remove all power cables. Remove the side panel locate an empty PCIE slot and seat the card firmly close the card retention bracket.

Replace the side panel and reconnect to power log in to the chassis management controller Gooey select the PCIE overview then click the set up tab. Make sure your VRTX server is powered off before proceeding. Locate the PC adapter and assign it to a server slot.

Select the PCIE overview then click the setup tab. Once your changes are made click apply your changes will now be reflected on the set up tab and in properties.
