Before installing drivers, ensure that the AC adapter is connected to both the system and the dock if required. Contact Dell support to confirm whether this is necessary for your system. Additionally, make sure that the Thunderbolt 16 dock drivers are installed before proceeding.

Installing Drivers:
- Open a web browser and go to Dell.com/Support.
- Identify your system by either entering the Service Tag or using automatic detection.
- Select "Drivers & Downloads" and click on "Select Drivers."
- Choose your operating system and set the category to BIOS.
- Scroll down, check the box next to the BIOS driver, and click "Selected for download."
- Click the BIOS driver again to view the driver details page and click "Download."

Driver Installation:
- Once the driver finishes downloading, open the file.
- Accept the confirmation and check the box to suspend BitLocker drive encryption.
- Click "Update" and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the BIOS update.
- The system may need to restart to finalize the process.
